What is Situational Leadership?

THE IMPORTANCE OF SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP

To be a leader others want to follow, managers need to set clear and attainable goals, provide the matching leadership style, and give appropriate feedback. Situational Leadership II – a proven and time-tested leadership model for developing competence, gaining commitment and retaining talent – boosts the effectiveness, impact and dedication of leaders and teaches them to behave in alignment with their good intentions and with what their people need.

1. A GLOBAL EXPERT IN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND COACHING

Ms. Maria Pressentin, a Senior Trainer of the Ken Blanchard Companies, brings a global perspective to her work, as much of her career has been in Asia and Europe. With many years of international business experience in leadership and sales positions in global industries such as banking and telecommunications, Maria brings dynamic insights to her presentations on leadership development and coaching. In addition to corporate training and consulting, Maria is an effective keynote speaker and coach. Her professional associations include the International Coach Federation, Singapore chapter, where she has served as chairperson for the Peer Coaching Circle and as vice president. Maria is also a member of Sol World (Solutions in Organisations Link-up), NeuroLeadership Institute, and the European School of New Institutional Economics.

  • Role-plays use real-life situations. Learners use real situations and solve real problems in real time.
  • Technology is used extensively to engage the learner. Learners can access the content online, before the learning experience, during the learning experience, and especially after the learning takes place. And that’s where the real reinforcement happens.
  • Emotionally compelling videos draw the learner into engaging scenarios that teach them how to spot opportunities to use the concepts effectively and showcase the impact of not using the concepts appropriately.
